When looking to adopt an older puppy or adult Belgian Shepherd, we encourage you to first contact the Rescue groups of your desired Belgian Variety - the Belgians in the rescue system are in the greatest need.

This site is intended to provide a secondary resource for finding other available Belgian Shepherds when a great match is not found in the Rescue system. Rehome Belgians are in the care of their breeders and are also looking for their forever homes. This is a privately sponsored site - not involved with any breed organization.

GROENANDAEL (aka Belgian Sheepdog) - Long coat, Black

MALINOIS (aka Belgian Malinois) - Short coat, Fawn to Mahogany, with a Black mask

TERVUREN (aka Belgian Tervuren - Red) - Long coat, Fawn to Sable to Grey, with a Black mask

TERVUREN (aka Belgian Tervuren - Grey) - Long coat, Fawn to Sable to Grey, with a Black mask

LAEKENOIS (aka Belgian Laekenois) - Wire coat, Fawn to Sable, with a Black mask

Belgian Shepherd are not a dog for everyone. Belgian Shepherds are versatile, sensitive, intuitive and with lots of love are often adaptable at any age from most situation. Though they are highly addictive they are not a dog for everyone. Training and working are an everyday part of this intelligent breed’s life - if you are not training them, they will be training you!. We encourage everyone to do their research, meet several Belgians and their people in person and ask a lot of questions!
