What is a "Rescue" Belgian Shepherd?

A "rescue" is in the care of a shelter or foster family. These belgians have been examined for health and behavior issues but a knowledgeable Belgian person. These dogs have been relinquished by their owners, for many reasons. Their breeders have not been contacted or identified. These dogs could also have been lost and not reunited with their families before their "safe" time in an animal shelter expired. There are many organizations in all the varieties of the Belgian Shepherds that pull together to retrieve Belgians from the Shelter systems to spare their lives and provide care until a proper "Belgian wise" placement  can be made.
